This is a full-time onsite position and is crucial for supporting our workforce This role also supports the Finance Team with accounts receivable and payable service delivery excellence.

Ballycara is seeking a Finance Officer to join our team, based in Scarborough. The successful candidate will assist the Payroll Officer, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This is a full-time onsite position and is crucial for supporting our workforce This role also supports the Finance Team with accounts receivable and payable service delivery excellence.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Assist the payroll officer in the provision of end-to-end payroll administration and processing of the fortnightly payroll in line with current awards, contracts, organisation policies and procedures.
- Process employee commencements, terminations and change of details requests in the payroll system.
- Assist the payroll officer in reconciling payroll reports
- Undertake a range of payroll-related administrative processes
- Respond to and resolve all telephone and email payroll enquiries in an accurate, courteous, confidential and timely manner
- Proactively stay up to date on legislation and Award requirements affecting the payroll function.
- Accurate data entry of accounts receivable and accounts payable processing
Skills And Experiences
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An interest in starting or expanding your career in Finance
- Intermediate Computer Skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Experience in Aged Care Industry is highly desirable
- Previous experience in similar administration and/or finance role
Mandatory requirements for the role:
- Police Check or willingness to get a Police Check
- COVID vaccinations x 2
