Based across the North of England the College offers a full range of subject areas and levels including Apprenticeships, Level 1-3 Diplomas, BSc Honours Degrees and Masters.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a hands-on Credit Controller role. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Credit Controller and be based full time in our Finance office at our York campus.
The successful candidate will assist the Head of Finance by taking responsibility of the collection of Tuition fees and debt management for the College, ensuring that unpaid debts are chased for payment in accordance with the College's policies.
In the capacity of Credit Controller, you must have meticulous attention to detail, possess excellent interpersonal skills and excel skills, have a confident telephone manner and the ability to communicate effectively.
We are in search of an individual with strong organisational skills to ensure debts are chased and Payments are allocated accurately while maintaining the links to and from our payment systems. Identifying any areas for process improvement.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Debtors of the college, ranging from Funding bodies, students and commercial companies.
