Financial Accounting Manager
Are you an experience Finance Manager with excellent people and leadership skills? Our client is seeking someone like you.
As a Financial Accountant by trade and expertise you will lead a small team of accountants, supporting the Financial Controller to maintain the integrity of the numbers and financial information for the business.
Your remit will include:
• Managing cash flow forecasts on a regular basis
• Keeping on top of the flow of cash for non-ledger items
• Liaising with the treasury team to ensure the correct balance of currencies
• Managing the Accounts Receivable team
• Maintaining the General Ledger
. Balance sheet accounts reconciled monthly
• Assisting in preparation of annual budget and quarterly reforecasts
• Proactively identifying system and process improvements
• Support the submission of full and half year submissions
• Assisting with the external audit
• Support tax schedule preparation and reporting
• Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are in place and all required returns are filed
To succeed in post, you will:
• Be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
• Have UK GAAP and IFRS experience
• Have strong reporting and financial accounting experience
• Excel including VLOOKUPs, PivotTable
• ERP systems experience and ability to assimilate new software quickly
• Have a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude to problem solving
. Must have proven team management experience
A salary of £50,000 to £60,000 p/a is on offer if you are successful, plus hybrid working 2/3 days in the office, 25 days holiday, Life Insurance, pension, healthcare and profit related discretionary bonus
