Duties & Responsibilities
Westfalia Marketing (Pty) Ltd, has a permanentvacancy for a suitable qualified and experiencedManagement Accountant, based in Tzaneen.

Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering Commercial.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Export Pools:

• Communication with Growers, Customers, Credit Control Team, Procure to Pay Team and Commercial Team on export pools
• Ensure timeous receipt of customer advances by liaising with Credit Control Team
• Preparing timeous and accurate grower advance payment instructions to be sent to Procure to Pay Team
• Processing and finalization of export pools (Advance Receipts and Payments, Customer account sales and final payment and cost deduction calculations for grower payments)
• Preparing timeous and accurate final payment instructions to be sent to Procure to Pay Team
• Liaising with Credit Control Team to ensure timeous processing and sending of customer final account sales and ensuring timeous receipt of funds
• Intercompany sales orders and purchase orders invoice processing for commission
• General and monthly journals for export pools
• Vessel reconciliations for export pools
• Assist with improving processes and controls

Bank and Cash:

• Timeous release of incoming funds from foreign customers and Forex trading
• Weekly completion of cash flow requirements for the company and emailing relevant information to intercompany growers
• Invoice Finance Agreement Management and applications

Adhoc:

• Assist with annual financial statement audit, BBBEE audit, APAC audit and Tax audits where needed
• Assist with other adhoc duties as and when required

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of experience as an accountant/management accountant or similar within a large company environment
• Post matric qualification in accounting/management accounting or similar
• Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge would be an added advantage
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Valid driver's license and own transport
• Experience in the Agricultural industry will be an added advantage

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge:

• Experience with full finance function up to trial balance
• Experience with banking, debtors, creditors, management accounts, SARS, cashflow management
• Experience with compilation of audit files and assisting with SARS audits
