I am recruiting for an Interim Tax Manager on behalf of my Sussex based client. The ideal candidate must have direct and in-direct Tax experience, ideally within a group function.

This is a hybrid position requiring 1 day in the office and 4 days from home. Candidates must be able to commit to a 6 month contract and be available immediately.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to -

• To complete corporation tax and VAT returns, liaising with subject matter owners to obtain/verify all relevant data
• Work with our tax and capital allowances advisors to provide such data as they require, but also to ensure any advice/guidance needed from them is sought
• Support the HMRC relationship, ensuring all interaction with them is constructive and transparent
• Provide advice and support to the business in matters relating to direct/indirect taxation matters, PSA, IR35 or other matters pertaining to tax and tax regulation (which may require reference to our professional advisors)
• Other related tasks in furtherance of supporting the tax and treasury function as may be reasonably required
