Payroll Assistant
MDH have a new opportunity within the payroll team of our Kirkcaldy based client as a Payroll Assistant. This is initially a temporary 9-month contract to cover Maternity Leave, however there is every possibility that this role could become permanent.
This is a Monday to Friday role with a salary of between £24,000 to £26,000 dependant on your experience.
The Role
In this role you will be processing the wages and salaries of all staff within the business. You will also be responsible for implementing process improvements to benefit the department and the wider business.
Duties
Having a minimum of one years’ experience from a payroll role is essential for this role.

Duties
- To be responsible for processing multiple payrolls for 200 employees.
- Carrying out new starter, leaver, amendments, absence, overtime, statutory payments and pensions
- Raising monthly and ad hoc payroll related payments
- Recovering monthly adjustments and deductions
- Completion of all company and year-end payroll processes
- Support other Payroll/HR projects as required
Having a minimum of one years’ experience from a payroll role is essential for this role.
