Are you the right person for the job?
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Accountancy and basic bookkeeping skills
  • Computer literacy and a working knowledge of accounting packages and other relevant applications, such as spreadsheets
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and processes
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and make recommendations
  • The ability to function well in a team, as they need to provide support as needed

What will your role look like?
  • Accurately process sales and purchase invoices, ensuring all entries are recorded correctly and in a timely manner
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and statement reconciliations to ensure our records are up-to-date and accurate
  • Manage CIS returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Maintain prepayment and accrual schedules, as well as depreciation schedules, ensuring all records are precise and current
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts, providing valuable insights and support to the finance team
  • Contribute to cashflow forecasting, helping to ensure the company’s financial health and stability
  • Prepare and deliver various financial reports as needed, offering data-driven insights to support decision-making
  • Manage credit control processes to ensure timely payments from clients and maintain healthy cash flow
  • Set up and manage supplier payment runs, ensuring our suppliers are paid accurately and on time
  • Handle small purchasing and administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the finance department
