Key responsibilities of an Accountant are:

Preparation of Management Accounts and Year End accounts
Bookkeeping
Preparation of VAT returns
Monthly payroll for clients
Supporting supplier payment runs for clients
Supporting junior members of the team

To be successful in your application for the role of Accountant, you should:

Have 2+ years of experience working within an Accountancy firm in the UK as an Accountant.
Have a good understanding of bookkeeping, payroll, and Xero (ideal).
Feel confident liaising with clients, having strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience working with tech start-up companies would be desirable.
Located in the UK with full right to work in the UK.
Be studying towards AAT or ACA/ACCA.
