Sellick Partnership have been engaged to recruit an accountant for a highly successful, reputable and profitable business based in Manchester. With around 450 people across the business, they have enjoyed a sustained growth path in 2024 and are looking to add an Accountant to their already established finance team.

Within this role as an Accountant, you will be a key member of the finance team and will be responsible for a range of different clients ranging from SMEs to Blue Chip companies. This role would be perfect for a first-time mover from practice, a Part-Qualified individual who has experience of producing sets of accounts for clients or someone coming from a similar role where you have produced full end-to-end accounts.

Responsibilities of the Accountant:

Preparing and managing client accounts from start to finish
Liaising with other departments to obtain necessary information to produce accounts
Calculating accruals and prepayments
Reconciling pension payroll, investments and contributions to accounting records
Constructing cash analysis for admin reports
Ad-hoc project work to implement a new accounting systemThe ideal candidate will have:

Studying towards a recognised professional qualification (either ACA or ACCA)
The ability to communicate with a range of different stakeholders both internally and externally
Experience of producing end-to-end accounts for a range of different clients
Strong attention to detail (including numerical and verbal accuracyThis is a fantastic opportunity to join this Manchester based company.
