- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance essential.
- C.A. (S.A.) equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in financial management; preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Manage financial operations, ensuring financial reporting, compliance with financial and tax regulations, and effective management of financial resources.
- Oversee the financial accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and financial analysis functions.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support the company's goals.
- Full financial management function, including GL maintenance, AP, AR and payroll.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- General ledger and reconciliation management.
- Compliance, auditing, and BEE management.
- Financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong IFRS/GAAP adherence.
- Cost accounting.
- Tax compliance.
- Budgets and forecasting for the Group.
- Manage finance projects whilst collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Fixed assets and Capex management.
- Fixed expenses and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Meticulously accurate in financial record-keeping.
- Highest standards of honesty and integrity
- Proven and strong ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
