Our client is looking for an experienced or part qualified Accountant to join their Accounts team in Inverness.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will assist in the production of monthly accounts and the year-end statements. You will assist with the purchase and sales ledger.

Main Job responsibilities

- Accounts payable and receivable cover.
- Assisting with payroll administration.
- Processing journals
- Working with nominal ledger, purchase, and sales ledger.
- Reconciliation work
- Assisting with cashflow preparation.

The successful candidate will

- Be minimum part qualified or equivalent experience within Accounting.
- Experience of working in the automotive industry
- Have up to date knowledge of current accounting standards.
- Have good working knowledge of financial processes.
- Have good working knowledge of Excel
- Have a flexible attitude to working hours
- Possess a positive can do attitude
