This role has become available to provide support to the Purchase Ledger Team with the day to day tasks due to the business going through a busy period.

This role would be a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain valuable experience in a wide Purchase Ledger role. You will need previous experience within finance and be available on an immediate or short notice.

Key Accountabilities

• Accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices across 9 entities with and without purchase order
• Administration of Weekly & Critical payment runs, including remittances.
• Supplier Queries Internal & External customers issues around expired POs and overdue invoices as required.
• Address vendor issues arising, collating an issues list to present to FC
• Maintain & monitor the quality of accruals reporting to the management accounts team to ensure invoices are subsequently received from suppliers.
• Metrics reporting for Aged Creditors, invoice turnarounds, vendor statement reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Work with credit control team and finance manager on contras and other finance matters
• Assist FC on other projects arising such as top vendors, critical vendors.
• Email mailshot to each entity and collate information.

Experience and Skills

• Previous purchase ledger experience
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Sage 200 experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
