In this role, you will advise and support the group on all sustainability matters, implementing approved sustainability processes and strategies.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Advise and support the Group on all sustainability matters.
  • Collect, review, and analyse sustainability data, metrics, and reports to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Address queries from colleagues, customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders regarding sustainability
  • Ensure the Group complies with sustainability legal and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities for strategic sustainability development within the Group.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives to make products and production processes more sustainable.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental and social standards.
  • Lead the Group's application for sustainability and carbon reduction accreditations and standards, and manage ongoing compliance.
  • Develop return on investment models and deliver internal contribution and client value
  • Lead sustainability behaviour and cultural change
  • Promote v charge and community heating schemes
  • Have a wide knowledge and understanding of the M&E services sector
  • Management of PAS2030/35/MCS approval and compliance

Essential Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
  • Someone with experience of social housing or local authority organisations
  • Understanding of UK sustainability related legislation and project solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sustainability practices and metrics
  • UK SHEQ legislation knowledge
