Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting into the CFO, and working closely with the CEO, this role requires a self-motivated, independent and action-orientated individual who is seeking an opportunity to perform as a core member of the Finance team and has an aspiration to become a Finance Manager.
They will be working with senior manager and have the opportunity for quick growth opportunities.
Key role responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the production of:
- Weekly and monthly management accounts and draft commentary,
- The firm's annual budget and forecasts and maintaining all budget models,
- All statutory accounts,
- Monthly expenditure and headcount reports for budget holders,
- Debt analysis.
- Preparation of the following:
- P&L supporting schedules and balance sheet supporting schedules,
- Company cashflow reports,
- Weekly trading analysis and reports and monthly trading forecast models.
- Management of monthly payroll process across 4 entities including:
- Commission calculations,
- Distribution of commission statements to all advisors,
- Processing starters, leaver and other adjustments,
- Accounts and balance sheet reconciliation
- Management of supplier payments
- Adhoc management account and data analysis
- Ownership of PowerBI reporting and analysis
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum 2:1 Finance or Accounting degree and practical experience within Finance (min 1 year+)
- A proactive mindset with the proven ability to work independently,
- Aspires to be part of a small team working in a scale-up environment,
- Power BI experience is highly desired.
