Would you like to join a leading accountancy firm who can support you through the AAT and ACCA qualifications?

Our client is a leading accountancy firm based in Manchester city centre. They provide accountancy services to individuals and companies in the sports, music and fashion industries. The firm are now looking to recruit a Junior Accountant.

Working closely with a team of experienced accountants, your responsibilities will include:

- Bookkeeping and receipt analysis
- Preparing VAT returns
- Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
- Assisting with account preparation for sole traders, limited companies and LLPs up to trial balance

While your responsibilities will focus primarily on bookkeeping to start with, you will be given more responsibility over time, and will be more involved in accounts preparation and tax work in the future.

The firm are able to offer study support towards the AAT qualification, followed by study support for the ACCA qualification once you have completed your AAT studies. The firm also offer hybrid working and an excellent benefits package.

To be considered for this position, you must:

- Have a minimum of 12 months experience at a UK accountancy firm
- Have a good academic record
- Currently be studying AAT Level 2 or Level 3 (or have recently completed your studies)
- Live within 1 hour of Manchester city centre

This role would suit someone who is currently working as an Accounts Apprentice / Junior Bookkeeper / Trainee Accountant.
