Semi Senior Practice Accountant - Berkshire

£32,000 - £38,000
Hybrid working (after probation) + Excellent Benefits
An opportunity has arisen for Semi Senior Practice Accountant with3 years of PQE in accountancy practice to join a well-established accountancy firm. In this role, you will support senior accountants, manage a client portfolio, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
You will be responsible for:
Prepare financial statements and reports according to accounting standards.
Conduct tax planning and prepare tax returns using Taxcalc.
Use Xero and QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Assist in training and developing junior staff.
What we are looking for:
Previously worked as a Practice Accountant or in a similar role.
MAAT qualified or ACCA part qualified
Understanding of accounting principles and standards.
Skilled in using TaxCalc, Xero, and QuickBooks.
Exceptional communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
