Cluster Financial Controller 65k, Scotland, Remote Location

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Financial Controller to join the team at a cluster of two hotels on an island on the West Coast of Scotland. This role will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of both properties, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all regulations.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of two hotels.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and senior management
• Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for stakeholders, including owners, investors, and auditors.
• Assist with the development of strategic financial plans and initiatives to drive growth and profitability

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, isolated location
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
