This role is primarily based in Invercargill, but for the right candidate, we're open to applications from across the country. If you're passionate and driven, we want to hear from you, no matter where you're located!

You will report to our National Director Payroll Servicesand lead a team of Payroll Officers, both locally and nationally. If you enjoy a busy role where no day is the same - keep reading!

What will your typical week look like?
  • Building client relationships and refining our onboarding process
  • Managing the day-to-day requirements in relation to workflow, payroll processing, pay reviews and banking
  • Mentor, train and develop the Payroll team
  • Ensuring payroll controls and compliance are effective, efficient, and used appropriately to mitigate risk
  • Actively participating in new and ongoing projects

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Manager to lead our large and sometimes complex payroll function. You will be process oriented, analytical and have excellent attention to detail. You will be comfortable working independently and taking accountability for leading the payroll team. You will also:
  • Proven track record in leading and developing teams.
  • Aptitude for identifying issues and developing effective solutions.
