The Opportunity

We have a unique career opportunity for an experienced Tax Advisory specialist to grow their career and build a strong pathway to Partner. You will report to our Tax Advisory Partner and work closely with our local accounting and tax team in a successful office and region. Our clients are interesting and reflective of our region including: Tourism, Viticulture and Property. Due to the nature of our clients, there are often Migration and International Tax considerations.

What will your typical week look like?

With a focus on growth, you can develop your career as you are presented with opportunities that will challenge and stretch you. You will be responsible for the following:

• Develop, build and maintain positive client relationships
• Provide strategic tax advice and manage taxation issues
• Research legislation, case law and other relevant sources
• Ensure compliance in line with relevant legislation and industry regulation as well as Group policies and procedures
• Provide coaching and support to develop capabilities among team members

You have a strong desire to grow your career with the following skills/experience:

• Proven experience in Tax Advisory consulting within a CA firm
• A degree in Commerce or Law and achieved CA/CPA qualification preferred
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and develop growth opportunities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships based on trust and mutual respect
• Proven leadership capability and willingness to mentor others
