Senior Manager, Capital Markets Accounting (Multiple Positions), PwC US Business Advisory LLP, Miami, FL. Advise clients on complex financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational events. Provide expertise on multiple complex accounting topics. Advise clients on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, and capital market topics. Manage a wide range of accounting and advisory-related projects. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Interact with senior company management teams, bankers, lawyers, and other advisers. Manage accounting and advisory project economics, workflow, budgets, billing, collections, and resource requirements.
40 hrs./week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 6 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience.
Certification(s) Required: U.S. CPA license or foreign equivalent.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
₋ Analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization;
₋ Understanding of financial reporting topics, including IPOs, debt offerings, private placements, carve-outs and/or spin-offs; and capital market topics, such as Acquisitions, alliances/joint ventures, post-deal accounting, Restructurings, restatements, and/or bankruptcies;
₋ Understanding of technical accounting topics such as GAAP conversions, change in accounting standards, and accounting complexity;
₋ Using project management procedures and tools such as project plans, governance structure, status reporting, communication framework, and/or issue registers to deliver project management solutions to clients.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% required.
