Our client is looking for a Finance Controller to join their team in the music industry. This key role involves overseeing financial operations and ensuring the company's fiscal success. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for the music industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
  • Budget Management:

  • Develop, monitor, and manage the company's budgets and financial plans.

  • Identify variances and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring sufficient funds for daily operations.

  • Monitor receivables and payables to optimize cash flow.
  • Compliance and Taxation:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry-specific requirements.

  • Coordinate tax planning and reporting activities.
  • Financial Controls:

  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

  • Safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Team Leadership:

  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

  • Mentor staff and provide guidance on financial matters.

  • Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
