Introduction
Are you an experienced payroll professional with a deep understanding of Sage 300 People and a passion for excellence in payroll administration? We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Sage 300 Payroll Administrator / Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and assist with aspects of our payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

As a Senior Sage 300 Payroll Administrator / Supervisor, you will leverage your extensive experience with Sage 300 to manage payroll processes and ensure seamless payroll execution. You will play a critical role in maintaining payroll records, resolving discrepancies, and implementing process improvements. Duties & Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
  • Responsible for the full payroll function of a staff
  • Process new employees and terminations
  • Load/ terminate all employees on the bargaining council online returns and process any commission.
  • Import and process all earnings.
  • Import and process all deductions.
  • Check Tax Validation reports before confirming pay run.
  • Process all Billings and ensure all reports reach Financial Managers on time.
  • File all salary input upon the end of the month
  • Ensure files are ready for auditing.
  • Assist auditors with all information needed.
  • Responsible for pay queries and feedback to all Financial Manager/ Accountant


Leave Administration
  • Load & process all leave applications
  • Calculate Leave Pay Outs upon terminations
  • Manage accumulated leave days for each employee

Employee Information changes
  • Change/Update banking details
  • Processing of Tax Numbers & Tax Directives
  • Job title changes

Benefit Administration
  • Liaise with Medical Aids, Pension/Provident Funds daily.
  • Add, and terminate dependants, and spouses on/off medical aids.
  • Process/ Withdraw/Update member details on benefit Funds.
  • Reconcile all payroll information with third parties.
  • Process Monthly fund Consolidated Report to the Payroll Manager
  • Draft confirmation of Maternity Letters, Certificate of Services & UIF
  • Liaise with/ assist HR with opening new employee files.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric with Sage 300 Payroll Experience

MS Excel

Bargaining Council Experience will be advantageous.
