Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join their team and play a key role in managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

- Assist with financial records in accurate and effective manner in accordance with accounting standards and procedures.
- Comply with internal controls that ensure accurate record keeping and the safe guarding of assets.
- Make and implement recommendations for improvements were appropriate.
- Ensure that the principles of good corporate governance are applied at all times.
- Assist with clean and effective annual audit.
- Ensure adherence to Group policies and procedures.
- Identify, recommend solutions and implement improvements to processes and procedures including appropriate documentation.
- Facilitate cash flow and cash flow forecasting.
- Facilitate effective cost measurement and control.
- Assist with financial analysis and insight for consideration in decision-making.
- Assist with analysis and management accounting reporting to aid decision-making, new business acquisition, pricing and profitability reviews.
- Assist with the divisions Cash Flows, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Reporting, Management.
- Co-manage the financial department, promoting the achievement of planned team objectives and targets by ensuring that the finance team has a high performance culture.
- Ensure that training and development needs are identified and actioned.
- Contribute to a pro-active environment where the managers and subordinates take responsibility for results.
- Ensure team diversity is embraced and that transformation is pro-actively driven.

Qualifications:
- Relevant Financial qualification: B. Com / Degree.
- 3 - 5 years' financial experience.
- Advanced Excel.
- Financial- and staff Management would be advantageous.
