Accounts Assistant required to join our progressive team.
The Raskelf Group (Duvalay) is a fast expanding bedding & mattress manufacturer with two sites across the UK. The Accounts Assistant will be based at the head office in Heckmondwike.
With over 20 years of experience and continued growth within the bedding & mattress manufacturing sectors, you would be joining one of the most innovative and exciting companies in the sector. Core Accounts Duties;
- Inputting, coding and matching invoices.
- Setting up new suppliers and maintaining existing supplier details.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Raising customer sales invoices.
- Setting up payment runs.
- Monitoring and chasing debt balances.
- Reconciling customer receipts.
- Reconciling company credit card expenses and process staff expenses.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and customers.
Other Duties Supporting Sales Team;
- Processing sales orders taken via the phone, website and email.
- Responding to customer enquiries.
- Maintaining excellent customer service.
Experience;
- Previous experience in and accounts role.
- Experience with using Sage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
