FinTech RS are delighted to have been appointed a recruitment partner of choice for a well-known oil & gas service business headquartered in the Aberdeen area.

Our client has recently gone through a re-organisation and are looking to bolster their finance team by bringing in a qualified accountant who can act as an Assistant Financial Controller.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work alongside a vastly experienced and qualified finance controller and will play a key part in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual finance reports. You will also support the budgeting and forecasting process whilst monitoring financial performance and identifying trends and variances.

The Assistant Financial Controller will also assist with conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures is upheld along with preparing financial statements. Play an active role in the development of financial controls and manage the AP and AR functions.

The ideal candidate will have between 2-5 years PQE whilst energy experience is beneficial but not essential. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting is essential.
