The Role:
- Conduct internal audit engagements in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Develop audit plans and scope of work to address client needs.
- Execute audit fieldwork, including testing, documentation, and data analysis.
- Identify and assess risks, controls, and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to clients.
- Prepare comprehensive internal audit reports.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to resolve audit issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our audit methodologies
The Person:
- Ideally Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Prior experience in auditing, preferably within an Accountancy Practice.
- Knowledge of auditing standards and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications
