Exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a successful and growing business in York, in a newly created position.

Pratap Partnership is pleased to be working with a business in York to recruit a Financial Controller for a newly created position. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of the largest division of a very successful group. The Financial Controller will ensure robust and accurate financial operations, management, and reporting. Its a varied role that will involve preparing monthly management accounts and KPIs, managing cash flows and the rolling cash flow forecast, contributing to the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, and preparing the year end audit file and ensuring a strong control environment. You'll also oversee accounts payable and receivable and be responsible for managing and motivating the team.

To be successful in this role you'll be a qualified accountant with a strong technical accounting background, together with excellent people management skills and recent experience of working in a varied finance role. This role would be particularly suited to a a practice-trained ACA qualified accountant who has already made the move into the commercial sector and is seeking to further progress their career.
