Our client who is a small family business is looking for an Accounts Manager, you will report directly to the Directors, and will be responsible for managing the day to day finance function of the business.
Whats in it for you
Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm
Early finish on a Friday 8am - 3.30pm
Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme
22 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays, On site Parking
Pay: £30,000 - £35,000 per year, dependent on experience
Job Description
Duties Will Include
Facilitate day to day finance function of the business
Credit Control
Manage purchase ledger and pay debtors
Produce monthly management accounts
Submission of applications for payment to clients
Contract Reconciliation
HMRC Statutory Returns, ie CIS, VAT
Management reporting and job cost analysis
Prepare all financial information and liaise with accountant in relation to statutory annual accounts
Cash Flow Management
Bank Reconciliations
Cover Payroll in the absence of the HR/Business Administrator (wkly for 50 workers)
Person Specification
Experience of working in the Construction Industry and operating CIS or a similar industry sector would be preferred
Experience of Sage 50 or similar system
