Management Accountant

North Wales
Management Accountant required to join one of our not for profit clients based in North Wales. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Management Accountant to join their dynamic and growing finance function.
Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant
Manage the accuracy of all the financial account ledgers and statutory accounts to ensure accuracy of reporting to aid in decision making
Produce the monthly Management Accounts, hold regular meetings with budget holders
Manage the ledger closedowns and reconciliations adhering to the management accounting timetable
Prepare the annual budget ensuring that adequate and accurate information is received from budget holders including uploading on to the finance system to support budgetary sign off
Managing a finance assistant
Manage financial systems and policies ensuring they are robust, documented and complied with and that full audit trails and controls are in place and maintained
Manage internal audits performed on the finance function to support best practiceRequired skills and experience of the Management Accountant
Part qualified Accountant - ACA,ACCA,CIMA or CIPFA or equivalent
Significant experience of producing management accounts and management accounting information
Significant experience of journals and amendments
Highly Developed IT skills, including MS Office and accounting packagesThis is fantastic opportunity to join a well-established not for profit organisation with unrivalled opportunities.
