Management Accountant

About the Company: Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation based near Marston Green, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in the financial management and strategic planning of the business.
Key
Responsibilities:
Month-End Process: Oversee the month-end process ensuring accuracy and completeness, and prepare reports for review.
Management Accounts: Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts for the group.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial targets are met.
Audits: Assist in the preparation and coordination of statutory audits and banking facility audits, ensuring all documentation and records are accurate and readily available.
Systems Management: Take ownership of systems, including the monthly reconciliations to the CRM System, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Commission & Sales Reporting: Prepare commission figures for both companies and update the sales leaderboard daily to provide real-time performance information.
Project Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the FC & CFO on various projects and data analysis tasks, providing financial insights and support to all functional areas of the business.
Process Automation: Focus on automating processes to reduce the time taken for month-end activities and streamline reporting to support the company's growth plans.
Supplier Rebate Tracking: Create and maintain a supplier rebate tracker to ensure accurate accruals and financial forecasting.Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficiency in using accounting software and CRM systems.
Excellent analytically skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.Benefits:
