Your new role
An interim Cost Accountant role, reporting to the Financial Controller. You will implement and deliver standard costing practices, inventory controls, operating cost analysis and procedures, across the manufacturing sites. You will partner with the Cost Accounting Lead to execute product costing processes for all entities and continuously monitor product costs to identify, correct, and ultimately prevent discrepancies by implementing appropriate control systems and procedures. In addition, you will drive improved inventory controls, and further provide analytical support to assist the company's operations finance team. This will include supporting the local operations finance team in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for other costs of material accounts, or other accounts as required. You will also complete all assigned general accounting functions and support the local accounting team where and when necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant, or finalist, with extensive cost accounting experience in manufacturing businesses. You will be highly IT literate and have strong communication and partnering skills. You will be available to start quickly and happy to commit to an assignment of six months.
