Group Financial Accountant

Your new company
Large, multinational professional services business with offices across the world are currently looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join the business at an exciting time as they look to expand their finance team. They currently have a need to recruit a Group Financial Accountant and are able to offer the role as a fully remote role. They have offices here in the South West, but with the team dotted across the country, they are open to seeing this as a fully remote role.
Your new role
Reporting into the Finance lead, this role has a key focus on the members' balance sheet, including profit share, tax reserves and current accounts. This role involves liaising with partners and finance members here in the UK and abroad, working across the group structure to ensure all associated view points are managed. Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Liaising with banks in relation to capital arrangements
• Providing annual statements to members
• Maintaining the profit share model
• Assistant in the redesign of processes and procedures in the team to ensure best practice across the accounting team
• Annual reconciliation of tax reserves

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong balance sheet experience and good attention to detail. You should be able to communicate confidently across all levels while conveying complex concepts in a clear and straightforward manner. You should be organised and be able to work under pressures and with tight deadlines. You should have strong technical knowledge, working with reconciliation and journals.
