Interim Head of Finance operations

Hays Bristol are currently working with a well-established financial services company in Bristol who are looking for a qualified accountant to lead, manage & mentor their transactional finance team. It is essential you have experience within financial services due to the nature & volume of the transactions, you must also have a extensive amount of experience managing transactional finance teams previously within this industry. Our client is looking to create a new role within the finance team, which supports the finance director & also business partners with other areas of the business, in order to help improve & streamline current processes as well as managing & mentoring the team to ensure they are getting the best possible outcomes.

We are looking to interview this month & start as soon as possible. It is initially a 6-month interim role to give the current senior leadership team enough time to create the new job specification & also, your role will entail offering advice & feedback around this process.

Essential criteria:

• You must be fully qualified (ACA/ACA/FCCA/CIMA)
• You must have extensive experience managing/ working in transactional/ operational finance teams
• You must have experience within financial services / insurance
• You must be able to work in the Bristol office for at least 2 days per week
