About the Role

We are seeking someone who can provide timely, accurate and relevant financial reporting to the New Zealand division. To ensure financial controls are in place and adhered to. To manage and oversee NZ tax obligations. To manage the Fixed Asset, Accounts Receivable and Cash Management functions. Managing financial systems for the NZ division and drive system improvement.

What will you be doing?

• Ensures team is aligned to strategy, fully engaged, and consistently performs to a high
  standard
• Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts for the NZ division.
• Liaise with the Financial Controller to ensure NZ results are captured correctly in the Corporate Consolidated Accounts.
• Manage and assist in the preparation of the NZ division balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Ensuring compliance and maintenance of effective internal controls
• Preparation and filing of Department of Statistics surveys and questionnaires.
• Management of external audit process

What do we need from you?

• Completion of professional accounting qualifications ideally through a CA firm with 5+ years post qualification experience
• Accounting or business qualification from tertiary institution
• 2+ years Finance Manager experience
• Strong financial accounting skills
• Ability to review processes, drive change and implement efficiencies
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience in SAP
