The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth execution of daily financial transactions across our diversified group of businesses.
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for all our business units.
- Record daily transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries.
- Support the accounting team with data entry and administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Palladium, Pastel) and MS Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
