We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records for our company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for recording all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role is crucial to the financial health of our organisation and requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The incumbent must be a proactive, independent individual who we can count on to meet deadlines, work mindfully and efficiently, and handle the workload well by putting in the necessary effort, energy, enthusiasm, and working responsibly by applying the rules and policies and striving to improve our systems.

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records for our company.

Key Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Verify that transactions are recorded correctly in suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
- Understanding of foreign transactions (debtors/creditors/cashbook).
- Process Monthly invoice run.
- Process Monthly Debit orders.
- Must be able to compile general ledger reconciliations with accuracy.
- Creditors management
- Capture all accounts payable daily and prepare for weekly and monthly payments.
- Responsible for Supplier reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance when processing invoices, that all payables have an authorised PO.

- Assist with Debtors Management
- Customer liaison, reconciliations, statements, queries and debt collection.

- Knowledge of Fixed Assets.
- Resolve all queries daily on the internal query system.
- Maintaining and ensuring that all documents are uploaded to XERO and Google Drive.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance team as needed.
- Any Adhoc duties.
- Proven bookkeeping experience of 5 - 10 years.
- Bookkeeping certification.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Must be proficient in the Xero accounting software and have worked on the system for a minimum of 2 years.
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets.
