VP of Finance and Operations Reporting to the President, the VP of Finance and Operations will lead the Finance, Supply Chain, IT and Legal functions across the globe. The ideal candidate will have experience in a mid-size company environment, ideally in Consumer Products Industry and must possess an entrepreneurial mindset. Core Responsibilities Provide dynamic leadership for a team comprising the Controller, General Counsel/HR, VP of Supply Chain, VP of IT, Head of Distribution, and Director of Planning. Direct and oversee all aspects of the organization's Finance and Accounting functions, ensuring their effective and efficient operation. Regularly analyze budgets and financial reports to maintain profit goals, continuously exploring opportunities to enhance the company's profitability while tracking progress. Provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance and capitalize on business opportunities. Establish and maintain robust controls and processes to safeguard product profitability and margins, cash flow, costs, and expenses. Communicate a clear financial direction, action items, and strategic initiatives throughout the organization, fostering alignment and engagement. Conduct financial analyses to support contract negotiations and evaluate product investment decisions. Assume end-to-end responsibility for the supply chain, with a particular focus on Purchasing and Distribution Operations. Drive operational efficiencies by collaborating with internal and external partners to achieve best-in-class cost of services. Oversee the company's risk management initiatives, contractual arrangements, and the development of comprehensive policies and procedures. Continuously enhance the IT roadmap, leveraging information and technology systems as a competitive advantage for the company. Lead major company-wide projects, guiding them to successful outcomes. * Other Duties and Responsibilities as directed Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA preferred. Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a mid-size company, ideally in the Consumer Products Industry. PE, IB experience strongly desired. Strong sense of accountability and urgency, entrepreneurial and results-oriented with strong attention to detail. Strong strategic, consulting, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. Excellent ability to influence. Demonstrated expertise in finance, accounting, supply chain management, and IT. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to derive meaningful insights from financial data. Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives concurrently.
