The VP of Finance is a senior financial executive HYBRID position. Reporting to the EVP of Finance, the VP of Finance provides financial management information and counsel to the company's top executives to identify and pursue orderly growth opportunities, measure performance and identify and control business risk. The VP of Finance will also be an advisor to ownership, business unit leaders, divisional and department heads evaluating and assisting as necessary with the development of budgets, financial planning, and financial performance, as well as general oversight and management of the organization's financial policies/procedures and systems and fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization. Requirements A minimum of a BS degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred, and CPA certification is desired. MUST have cost accounting experience in construction or project work in a closely related field. Strong demonstrated accounting and financial knowledge, including financial systems, are essential along with extensive budget development and consolidated financial reporting expertise. Strong blend of analytical, decision-making, and creative problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills as well as superior organizational and problem-solving ability. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required. Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes and budgets. Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service. Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point. Must be willing to travel 10% to 20% to Torrance, CA headquarters. Potentially twice a quarter.
