A Senior Creditor Controller with managerial experience is needed.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOur client is currently on the lookout for a Senior Credit Controller to join their team permanently in Midrand.

Duties:

• Oversee debtors team
• Manage credit and collections function
• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures
• Leadership and training innovation
• Work closely with the sales and finance departments to align credit policies with business goals
• Assist in the negotiation of payment terms with customers
• Ensure all credit activities comply with internal policies and external regulations
• Stay up to date with changes in credit management best practices and legal requirements
• Implement measures to mitigate potential credit risks
• Monitor economic trends and industry developments that could impact credit risk

Qualifications & Experience:

• 10 years' experience in a managerial role
• BCom Accounting degree
• Ability to handle stress/pressurised environments
• Management experience is essential
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Accpac, Great Plains and Power BI)
