Introduction
Seeking a skilled Financial Manager to join our dynamic company whose main purpose will be to focus on the below:

1.Financial Planning and Analysis: Developing and implementing financial plans and strategies to achieve organizational goals.

2.Investment Management : Managing the organization's investment and ensuring alignment with goals and objectives of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinating with the statutory auditors and providing all the necessary information required for the completion of the audit.
  • Co-ordinating with the internal auditor and clearing all relevant queries.
  • Preparing Financial Statements as per IFRS and US GAAP requirements & ensuring timely completion.
  • MIS reporting and review.
  • Fixed Asset Management and accounting.
  • Review, approval and release of Purchase Requisition in ERP system.
  • Assisting in providing budget figures when required.
  • Monitoring and managing cash flow and ensuring cash is always available for financial activities
  • Preparation of Cash flow on a monthly basis.
  • Providing guidance in ensuring that the correct GL's are assigned in accounting entries
  • Variance analysis on P&L items and advising reasons for major variances
  • Monthly monitoring of expenses and requesting reasons as to why expenses have a variance.
  • Review and filling of VAT, Income Tax, Dividend Tax returns and preparing information (IT14SD) for Income tax assessments.
  • Obtaining Tax clearance certificate from tax authorities, submitting quarterly financial statistics, solvency declaration and other statutory requirements.
  • Applying for Government grants, seeking approval, submitting claims &n arranging approvals/ grant incentives.
  • Liaison with banks regarding approval from the Reserve bank for foreign payments to Group companies and external parties.
  • Applying for long term loans, overdraft facilities, bill discounting facilities with financial institutions as and when required in coordination with the corporate team.
  • Coordinating with the compliance team in obtaining the desired B-BBEE scorecard levels.
  • Vetting legal documents, client agreements and change control documents before sign off.
  • Attending Executive Committee meeting on a weekly basis.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • BCOM Accounting
  • 3+ years as a financial Manager
