Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Management

• Assist with the compilation of the Annual Audit Pack
• Assist with the compilation of the Monthly Management Pack
• Responsible for all Balance Sheets Accounts
• Monthly GL Reconciliations
• Analysis of stockholding and adjustments
• Review of Clearing Accounts weekly/monthly
• Review and analyse Credit Notes and Delivery Notes
• Journal Entries
• Review Fixed Asset Register
• Review VAT returns
• Review Suppliers Reconciliations and ensure timeous payments
• BEE compliance reporting
• Oversee functions of Accountants and all other areas of the Accounts Department
• Meeting of deadlines

Credit Control and Risk Management

• Understanding of the NCA and legal process
• Understanding of CGIC
• Oversee full Credit Management function
• Manage the Debtors Age Analysis
• Manage credit control limits, terms, insured and uninsured values
• Monitor NT Accounts
• Monitor default debtors and hand over accounts
• Oversee full Credit Insurance process including declaration
• Monitor collection targets and cash forecasts
• Manage the on hold/off hold process
• Assist with Customer queries, reconciliations and complaints
• Manage Customer database
• General
• Various reports
• Staff training
• Improve policies and procedures
• Documentation of Workflow
• Assist in all area of the Accounts Department when required
• Compliance with the POPI Act
• Custodian of company information
• Completion of Credit Applications and Vendor Applications

Desired Experience & Qualification
5 - 8 years experience as a Finance Manager

Relevant Degree

Chartered Accountant essential
