Job & Company Description:
Join an innovative leader in the engineering sector as a Cost Accountant, where your expertise in cost management and financial analysis will be instrumental.
You will take charge of the entire costing function, from budget forecasting to inventory control, supporting operational excellence and profitability.
Education:

• BTech Cost Management, or BCom/BCom Honours/CIMA qualification

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and practices within the engineering industry
• Proficiency in activity-based costing, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM's), work in progress (WIP), and managing production costs
• Ability to manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) and maintain fixed asset registers
• Strong analytical skills to prepare monthly cost reports and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with production teams on production lines and stock management
• Capability in pricing and costing of products to ensure profitability and competitiveness
