Position Requirements:
Job Summary:
The BBBEE & Skills Equity Consultant must have vast knowledge in Employment Equity reporting, in terms of all the aspects of the Act. The individual will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to clients to ensure compliance with Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) and skills development legislation. This role involves developing strategies, managing BBBEE scorecard requirements, promoting skills development initiatives, and ensuring accurate submissions on behalf of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1.1. Develop and implement customized BBBEE strategies for clients to achieve and
maintain their desired BBBEE ratings.
1.2. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' current BBBEE status and identify areas
for improvement.
1.3. Advise clients on best practices and legislative requirements related to BBBEE and
skills development.
1.4. Provide on-site and remote consulting services to clients, addressing their specific BBBEE and skills equity needs.
.2 BBBEE Compliance and Scorecard Management:
2.1. Monitor and evaluate clients' BBBEE scorecards and ensure all elements are
accurately measured and reported.
2.2. Collaborate with clients' internal teams to gather data and documentation required for
BBBEE audits and verification.
2.3. Stay updated on changes in BBBEE legislation and advise clients on compliance requirements.
.3 Skills Development and Employment Equity:
3.1. Develop and implement comprehensive skills development strategies for clients in line with BBBEE requirements.
3.2. Coordinate and manage learnerships, internships, and skills development programs for clients.
3.3. Liaise with SETAs (Sector Education and Training Authorities) to ensure clients' compliance with skills development levies and grant applications.
3.4. Ensure clients' compliance with the Employment Equity Act and assist in driving the implementation of their Employment Equity Plans.
3.5. Compile and submit Employment Equity reports to the Department of Labour on behalf of clients.
Reporting and Documentation:
4.1. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all BBBEE and skills development
activities for clients.
4.2. Prepare regular reports on clients' BBBEE status, skills development progress, and
employment equity compliance.
4.3. Assist clients in the preparation and submission of BBBEE and skills development
documentation to relevant authorities.
Training and Awareness:
5.1. Provide training and awareness sessions on BBBEE and skills development to
clients' employees and management.
5.2. Develop training materials and resources to support clients' understanding and
compliance with BBBEE and skills development requirements.

- Required for a full-time position at Head office in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
- 3-5 years' experience required.
- Must be a qualified SDF with any accredited body.
- Have a vast understanding of the amended BEE codes in terms of all the elements.
- Minimum qualification: NQF 6 or equivalent.
- Must own a vehicle, valid driver's licence and be willing to travel.
