They are actively seeking a skilled Accountant to join their finance team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of their operations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely reconciliations of accounts to ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
• Manage and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare and process journal entries, maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, providing analysis and insight to support financial decision-making.
• Prepare financial statements
• Handle SARS VAT submissions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-5 years proven experience in accounting, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of SARS VAT TAX regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
