Description
Our client is looking for a Junior Cost Accountant to join their company in the Automotive Industry.
Educational & Training Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Financial Management or equivalent

Experience Required:

Previous experience in the Finance environment will be advantageous
Syspro & Advanced Excel knowledge essential
5 years' experience within a manufacturing environment

Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
Bill of materials:

Creation of new stock codes
Material master maintenance
Updating of standard cost

Month-end processing:

Processing of production jobs on Syspro
Processing of scrap on Syspro
Processing of bulk tank usage (oil, gas, diesel, etc.)

Monthly stock takes:

Month end investigation & reconciliation of warehouse variances
Posting of stock take variances on Syspro

APDP:

Calculation & preparation of quarterly declarations (Form C2 & SMD)
Submission of declarations on BMAIS portal
EUR1 declaration preparation & submission
SADC declaration preparation & submission

AIS (Automotive Incentive Scheme):

Maintaining expense schedules for use in claim submission
Retention of documentation required for audit of AIS claims.
Assist in claim preparation.
