This role sits within our central ‘centre of excellence' leading national marketing, brand and customer experience strategies and activities. About the RoleThis chunky role will see you working nationally across 3 very interesting portfolios here at Foodies! This really is a highly desirable role with a mix of BAU - annual budgets, month end, management reporting, KPI reporting, forecasting etc and the opportunity to dig into various areas of specific analysis, contract negotiations, rolling budgets…. You will be constantly challenged so need to enjoy working with flex, at pace and enjoy getting stuck in! Key areas you will be involved in are:· Providing proactive support helping to develop and deliver insightful commercially reporting that enhances the outcomes & results for your portfolios· Owning the annual financial planning, budgeting & forecasting process, ensuring spend is aligned to the strategy· Providing national sales, market share and customer experience target and KPI reporting for the teams to assist in planning and performance reporting· Engaging with key stakeholders to ensure the business is well informed, the reporting process is efficient, and delivering to agreed timelines and targets About You With a management accounting/ group finance background, you'll have a knack for translating numbers and making the complicated simple. You'll be a strong communicator who is commercially astute with high attention to detail and curiosity that fuels your desire to learn. You'll have: · Proven leadership in managing a set of stand-alone accounts· Experience in financial reporting forecasting and business information systems· Excellent analytical capability with high levels of planning and numeric ability· A flair for nurturing relationships, influencing and coaching to ensure shared deliverables are met We are looking for someone who is curious and leaves no stone unturned but is also confident to challenge the status quo and suggests improvement initiatives and encourages thinking differently. It goes without saying you will be methodical, organised, comfortable working and analysing independently, but most importantly you will appreciate strategic imperatives while operating effectively at an operational level, taking ownership and responsibility for action.Experience awesome.
