Description
The Opportunity
Based in our Whangārei office, and reporting to our Management Accountant, you will be involved in day-to-day accounting operations and in supporting our Finance team to deliver financial information across our diverse group of companies.
The role will be responsible for key accounting tasks for the operations of a number of companies. Workload will be a balance of processing, analysing, advising, and reporting key information to support our manufacturing business and other business units.
You may have some experience in a particular function of Finance - whether that be Accounts Payable, Payroll, reconciliations, cost analysis, data preparation, or assisting with month end reporting, or a desire to develop your skills in any of these areas. This could be an opportunity to advance into an Accounting role or an Assistant Accountant wishing to advance to the next level.
What is more important is us finding someone with a "do whatever it takes to get it done" type-attitude.
There is a lot of variety in this role, which is part of a small, but efficient Finance team.
Skills And Experiences
About You
You may have a relevant qualification or be studying towards a qualification - this isn't essential though.
Experience with Greentree and/or Xero Software would be a bonus - or otherwise be able to demonstrate an ability to learn different software systems.
You are comfortable using Microsoft Excel - you don't have to be at an Advanced level, but a desire to develop your skills would be great.
You are the type of person who doesn't settle for mediocrity and always do what you say you will do. You will be a collaborative team player who has the desire to grow and learn.
Please Note:
