The Regional Manager is responsible for managing a panel of Financial Advisers as part of the overall Relationship team.

The Regional Manager is responsible for managing a panel of Financial Advisers as part of the overall Relationship team.
Key responsibilities -
Contribution to Relationship Team:
- Contribution to the operational and tactical implementation of organisational strategy for NZFSG.
- Sharing insights on industry trends and best practices
- Working and collaborating with peers to solve business problems collectively
Contribution to wider NZFSG business:
- Build, engage and maintain strong working relationships with internal NZFSG stakeholders.
- Embrace and live by NZFSG's core values.
- Contribute proactively, collaborate and share ideas with all NZFSG business units.
- Ability to make tough decisions when necessary.
Adviser Recruitment:
- Operationalise and execute on the recruitment strategy for NZ.
- Create, build and maintain an ongoing relationship with key talent across the industry.
- Develop, grow and leverage a network of prospective new businesses.
- Manage the selection process to ensure new recruits are aligned to our vision and values.
Grow Adviser Businesses:
- Communication and deliver the NZFSG way to a panel of Financial Advisers.
- Forecasting and proactive interventions that drive adviser performance in respect to good customer outcomes.
- Facilitate and embed learning through collaboration and peer to peer learning that supports sharing of ideas and best practice across NZ and the broader business.
- Be the first point of contact for a panel of Financial Advisers and proactively look to engage and add value.
- Segment advisers via the group's segmentation strategy and provide business support and introduce new opportunities to a panel of advisers.
General:
- Build strategic partnerships with key business partners.
- Gaining insight into industry trends and what our competitors are doing that can become an input into business strategic planning.
Skills and Experience you'll bring to the role -
- Diploma Financial Services or Equivalent preferred.
- Degree Qualified preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in Banking / Financial Services (unless Diploma / Degree held).
- Demonstrable commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Experience in the mortgage adviser industry is preferred.
- Resilience and ability to deal with uncertainty.
- Persistence and adaptability.
- Self-driven and ability to work autonomously.
- Enjoys engaging with others and collaborating.
- Enjoys being challenged and to challenge others.
- Enjoys supporting others to grow.
- Desire to ‘make a difference' to others.
- Business coaching skills are an advantage.
- Exceptional organisation and time management.
