Head of Finance

Your new company
A fast-growing, creative business in North East London is currently hiring a Head of Finance to lead their Finance team following a period of growth. This is a fascinating business to be a part of and a pivotal role in supporting the C-Suite and senior management team.
Your new role
This is a broad role which will allow you to oversee the growth of the finance department and act as a commercial and strategic adviser to the business. Your role will include but not be limited to:

- Preparing annual statutory accounts for the group and subsidiaries
- Support and develop a finance team
- Review and improve financial processes and systems
- Oversee management accounts preparation management information packs for group and stakeholders
- Drive long-term financial planning and reporting
- Cash flow planning
- Working closely with external stakeholders including brokers and banks


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Accountant with experience of working in a growing SME environment. This role requires a strong leader and people manager, so previous experience of team management is key. You will also be confident in working with senior stakeholders, presenting financial and management information to stakeholders, as well as working and negotiating externally with third party suppliers. This is a high-profile role within the business, so you will be a confident communicator.
