Management Accountant

Salary: Up to £45,000

Location: Anglesey

Open to full time, part time, and condensed hours

Company

The Group is comprised of over 50 entities including companies, trusts, partnerships and personally held assets. In addition, there are a number of associated philanthropic entities. Assets are concentrated in the New Forest, Bournemouth and Anglesey and include residential, commercial and agricultural property together with a number of trading businesses including renewable energy, hotels, a motor racing circuit, a caravan park, and in-hand farms.

Responsibilities

• manage the day-to-day financial operations across the Estate;
• act as the financial right-hand to the Estate Manager; and
• provide real time and reliable financial information to support the management of the Estate's income streams which are derived from the following activities:
• in-hand and let farms
• a large residential and holiday let portfolio
• a coastal caravan park and other coastal assets
• a commercial portfolio comprising let quarries and solar farms
• sporting assets including a motor racing circuit
• a property maintenance business

Keys aspects of the role are:

• Management of Assistant Accountant
• VAT - including VAT Partial Exemption
• Inter-company reconciliation and other Group activities
• Production of management accounts for multiple entities
• Budget setting for multiple entities

Experience Needed

• Qualified, Part Qualified, or QBE
• Group company experience
• VAT experience
• Advanced Excel
• Experience of multiple accounting packages
• Self-confidence
